News and highlights

Gières (Grenoble), France, January 19, 2021 - eCential Robotics, a French growth company that designs and produces the only system fully unifying 2D/3D robotic imaging and surgical navigation, and previously known as Surgivisio, today announced the rebranding of its identity. The rebranding contributes to the strengthening of the Grenoble-based company's position as a rising player in surgical robotics. eCential Robotics, which has experienced strong growth since the commercial launch of its platform in December 2017, has secured equity, quasi-equity and debt financing, totaling close to 100 million euros to support its industrial and commercial development. The company aims to cover all bone surgery indications through the development of surgical Apps.

On December 12, 2019, Surgivisio was presented with the Grenoble Health Trophy awarded during the Economy Night organized by Présences magazine, at the Summum, Grenoble, France.

While on stage, Stéphane Lavallée, President and Founder of Surgivisio, thanked his staff. “I am honored to receive the Health Trophy on behalf of Surgivisio, but above all, I am very proud to work with such a great team, the best of all”, he said.

Gières, France, June 27, 2019 - Surgivisio today announced the launch of its pediatric application for spine surgery. The French company, which markets the only unified surgical platform combining 2D fluoroscopy, 3D imaging and real-time navigation, now offers its customers a pediatric mode with an additional X-ray optimization for dose reduction.

Grenoble, January 21, 2019. Surgical robotics company Surgivisio moves to new headquarters in the Gières district of Grenoble, world capital of surgical robotics.
The new headquarters will provide space for Surgivisio’s growing workforce, and the production plant will enable the company to further industrialize the production process of its surgical platform.
